Abortion - Viable Option or Murder?

In the 32 years since abortion became the law of the land, more than 45+ million reported abortions have taken place in the USA. Hitler's holocaust and the reported extermination of 6 million jews, is greatly overshadowed by the congressional holocaust which has ended the short life of 7 times that number of victims.

How should devoted Christians view abortion? Does the Bible have anything to say about it?
God's 6th commandment forbids the taking of life. It's in the Bible, Exodus 20:13, NKJV. "You shall not kill."

When the sperm has fertilized the egg a new life has begun. The mother's body is host to this totally dependent and separate human being. God has placed upon her the awesome task of doing everything possible to insure healthy development while in her body. God gave no woman the right to terminate the life of this dependent little being.

What does God say about the life and personhood of a fetus? People have worth and identity before they are born. It's in the Bible, Jeremiah 1:5, NIV. "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

God is at work in a person's life while he is in the womb. It's in the Bible, Psalm 139:13-14, NIV. "For you created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well."

How in the world did Satan ever get this God fearing nation to get to the point where such monstrous legislation could ever be voted into law? One only needs to understand how Satan works.

He attacks common sense with logic. For over 6,000 years he has been in an all out war against God and His ten commandment law. For over 16 centuries he has successfully gotten the majority of Christendom to throw out God's 4th commandment and replace it with the man made commandment giving homage to the Pagan day of sun worship. Now he wants all of Christianity to abandon the 6th commandment.

In his plan to destroy the American family he has been successful in altering what constitutes a family. He has used the militant feminists groups in an attempt to bring about the feminization of our great land through demasculinization of the American male. The second half of the 20th century witnessed and unparalleled decline in moral values unheard of in all of it's previous history. We in 2001, have been so bombarded with filth from Hollywood and the media, for so long, that anyone suggesting a moral high road is an enemy of progress.

And anyone taking a position of Pro-Life is deemed to be out of sync with the will of the American people. Why? What ever happened to human decency and common sense?

The answer? LOGIC. Satan has always used this tool to accomplish his agenda. We who choose to make the Bible our authority in all matters can read a serious warning given in Peter's writings:
As written in 1 Peter 5:8 8 "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."

He will get you to cave on what appears on the surface to be logical. And THAT is the problem. He appeals to your logical thinking. Today I appeal to your common sense. Close your brain and open the common sense within your soul's understanding.

When your common sense says NO....He works with logic to convert your thinking to a YES. PROOF? In Eden. Listen to the common sense attacked with logic in Gen.3.
1 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?"

Now eavesdrop on Eve's common sense: verses 2 & 3.
2 And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.'"

And now comes Satan's logic: verses 4 & 5.
4 Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

Common sense defeated, logic overrules and
6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

It seemed logical that surely a God of love would not deal with us so harshly. She ate and WERE HER EYES OPENED? Yes indeed. Logic won. The result-6,000 years of misery, death, pain and God Himself nailed to a cross.

The people in Noah's time listened to Noah preach for 120 years. Common sense led them to believe this man of God is right. But Satan moved upon the scientists, the meteorologists and the pastors to use logic with the people. The scientists proved that water is heavier than air and it just can't go up. The weather men said there is nothing on record of water ever falling from the sky. The Pastors say this fanatic builds a huge boat far from any body of water and says God told him to do it. Have nothing to do with this heretic. God is a God of love, surely He will not destroy the earth.
Logic won. The result- Out of untold millions, 8 were saved.

12 spies were sent out to scout the promised land. All 12 gave a good report about the land and its yield of produce. 2 faithful servants of God appealed to the people's common sense that the God we serve who has led us this far, He will deliver this land to us. But the other 10 gave a gloomy report, appealing to their logic. Why there are giants in the land and we will be utterly destroyed.
Logic won. The result- 40 years of wandering.

Over and over throughout the Bible are numerous examples, of good people using God given common sense, doing wonderful things, until Satan comes knocking at the door of logic.

So what logic did the feminists use to bring about the brainwashing that changed the position of so many Christians that once vehemently opposed abortion?

1. Without protection from the law, women will lose their lives in back alley abortions;
2. People will not be able to afford to give proper care in raising the child;
3. We need to protect a woman's right to choose;
4. A woman should have control over her own body; etc., etc.

Many reasons for abortion can be dismissed without a second thought. But on the surface, these reasons sound logical. But let's look at each one.

1. Without protection from the law, women will lose their lives in back alley abortions.
For a single pregnant woman to choose to murder her unborn, we need a law that will doom hundreds of other unborn human beings? I do believe that instead of abortion, a far greater number, in the absence of protection under the law, would bring the child to term.
2. People will not be able to afford to give proper care in raising the child.
But there are many childless couples that can afford to raise and love that child.
3. We need to protect a woman's right to choose.
She should choose to live within the will of God and abstain from illicit sexual relationships. But never choose to kill another human being.
4. A woman should have control over her own body.
On this I could agree only to the extent that if she had control over her body there would be no pregnancy. But once conception has taken place, this new body developing within her is not hers to decide the fate of. She is merely host to a dependent human being that God knows.

There is such a spirit of acceptance and indifference, especially in the Christian community. I would never advocate violence. Those who speak pro-life in one breath, and kill abortionists or bomb clinics putting other lives at risk, are no better than those who choose to terminate the defenseless young.

Listen very closely to what I have to say right now. Jesus, our elder brother and example in all things is... listen very carefully... Jesus is pro-life.

Just as if we are party to listening to gossip, we are as guilty before God in our listening to gossip as if we were the ones wagging our tongues. So if we take a position of pro-choice in regards to the killing of the unborn, we are evidencing our guilt to God above, on the same level as if we are the pregnant decision maker or the Little Angel life taker.

It is sad to say that there is an ever growing large group of young women that are driven insane from bearing the guilt of having decided to terminate the life of their unborn. But the pro-choice people have washed their hands.

Right now I don't care where your stand has been on abortion. I appeal to your common sense, if you truly desire to live within the will of God, you better understand His position on the sanctity of life.

God has an appointment with this nation as surely as he did with Sodom and Gomorrah. If we continue to descend into moral decline, He will have to visit this nation with judgements here-to-fore unknown in our land. That time is upon us now. His visitation will be an overwhelming surprise, just as it was for hundreds of wedding guests on the 4th floor in a Jerusalem banquet hall recently. Everyone was celebrating and having a grand old time one minute, the next moment, their bodies were laying in concrete rubble where the garage used to be.

God knows the struggle for survival each of the 42 million little human beings valiantly gave before their murder was final. And God knows the tortured minds of the wretched souls who made the decision to allow the killing of their unborn. Many have lost their minds because their guilt was more than they could handle. Many too have taken their own lives.

Jesus has forgiveness for all who have sinned in this respect. Through Godly repentance and confession, pouring out your soul before Him, He will forgive. But common sense pleads with anyone daring to consider such a Satanic decision, give that child a chance, after all....your mother did.

Jesus said, "Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not."
